What is CPHR Designation?

The Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is the nationally recognized level of achievement within the field of human resources. Having this designation communicates to others that you have the knowledge and experiences needed to lead organizations through the different challenges of the present-day workforce.

CPHR Pathways

For CPHR Alberta members, there are four paths to the CPHR Designation.

Mentorship Program

All members of CPHR Alberta are welcome to participate by applying to the Mentorship Program.

Walk & Talk Program

The program is a one-time, two-hour meeting between senior HR leaders and HR students who are members of CPHR Alberta.

HRC West Case Competition

CPHR Alberta, along with CPHR BC & Yukon, bring together teams of students from post-secondary business programs across Western Canada for a one-of-a-kind learning experience into an action-packed weekend.
